Dosing Pumps unit built by Aquaflow Pumps
01 / Series Overview

Repeatable Dosing, Documented Twice Over

AF-D metering pumps keep dosing accurate across turndown from 10 to 100 percent. The hydraulic diaphragm design holds repeatability at plus or minus 1 percent, and each pump ships with a calibration certificate so your commissioning report starts from a verified baseline.

  • 0.1 to 500 L/h at 1 to 20 bar liquid ends
  • Repeatability within plus or minus 1 percent of setpoint
  • PVDF, PTFE, or 316L liquid ends for aggressive chemicals
  • Analog, pulse, and bus control with stroke feedback option

03 / Applications

Where The Dosing Pumps Runs

Six duties this series handles week in, week out, with the configuration notes our engineers apply first.

Water Treatment

Coagulant, PAC, and chlorine dosing with stroke-feedback control.

Boiler Chemistry

Phosphate and sulfite feed with boiler-water interlocks.

Cooling Towers

Biocide and acid dosing skids with day tanks and agitators.

Reverse Osmosis

Antiscalant and SMBS dosing ahead of membranes.

Paper And Textile

Dye and chemical metering with multi-head manifolds.

Aquaculture

Low-flow chlorine neutralization with gravimetric calibration.

04 / Order And Quality

From Duty Point To Shipment

Four steps, each with a written output, so you always know what happens next and what arrives with the pump.

01 / Step

Chemical Data

Send the chemical, concentration, and dose target; we size the liquid end and wetted materials.

02 / Step

Skid Layout

Day tank, mixer, level switch, and pump manifold drawn for your approval.

03 / Step

Calibration

Each pump is calibrated across the range and shipped with its certificate.

04 / Step

Commissioning

4-20 mA loop checks and a dosing verification run at handover.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Which wetted materials do I need for chlorine?

For sodium hypochlorite up to 12 percent we recommend PVDF or PTFE liquid ends with EPDM-FFPM gaskets and a degassing valve head. 316L is not suitable for hypochlorite.

Can one motor drive several heads?

Yes. The AF-D drive accepts up to three heads for proportional multi-chemical dosing, common in cooling tower and RO plants.

How accurate is the pump at 10 percent stroke?

Within plus or minus 2 percent at 10 percent turndown and plus or minus 1 percent between 30 and 100 percent. The calibration sheet lists measured points.

Do you supply complete dosing skids?

Yes. Skids include day tank, suction strainer, pulsation damper, back-pressure and relief valves, injection quill, and control cabinet, tested with water before dispatch.

What happens if the chemical crystallizes?

Use the flush-port head option and a dedicated flush sequence; the manual lists flushing intervals per chemical. A heated head is available for sodium chlorite and similar fluids.
