Built For Pits, Stations, And Dewatering Sites
AF-S pumps live in the wet well and keep working when others trip: vortex impellers for ragged sewage, single or three channel impellers for clean drainage, and a mixer option for stations that tend to settle. Every unit is submersion tested before it leaves the hall.
- Vortex, single-channel, and three-channel impeller options
- Solids handling from 40 to 100 mm depending on model
- Double mechanical seal in oil bath with leakage probe
- Cast iron or duplex stainless wet ends for corrosive wells

Where The Submersible Pumps Runs
Six duties this series handles week in, week out, with the configuration notes our engineers apply first.
Sewage Lift Stations
Vortex impellers with guide-rail coupling and gate-valve discharge.
Construction Dewatering
Abrasive-ready drainage units with hard-chromed shafts.
Stormwater Tanks
Duty-standby pairs with auto-alternation control panels.
Farm Lagoons
Slurry transfer with chopper option for long fibres.
Mine Pits
Duplex stainless builds for acidic pit water.
Ship Bilges
Compact 50 Hz units with marine certification on request.
From Duty Point To Shipment
Four steps, each with a written output, so you always know what happens next and what arrives with the pump.
Well Survey
Send the well drawing, inflow, and fluid analysis; we check dwell time and solids load.
Impeller Match
Vortex for rags, channel for clean water, chopper for fibres; you get the reasoning in writing.
Wet Test
Submersion and insulation test plus 30-minute dry-run of the motor before packing.
Install Support
Guide-rail drawings, coupling dimensions, and commissioning checklist for your contractor.

VideoAF-S Guide Rail Installation WalkthroughHow an AF-S submersible lands on its auto-coupling without anyone entering the wet well. Frequently Asked Questions
Vortex or channel impeller, which one do I need?
Vortex impellers pass rags and stringy solids with almost no clogging but lose a few efficiency points. Channel impellers are more efficient on cleaner water. If your station serves a hospital, restaurant row, or old combined sewer, choose vortex.
How deep can the pump be submerged?
Standard sealing allows 20 m of continuous submersion; 30 and 40 m versions use an increased-pressure oil bath. Confirm well depth and cable length with the order.
What maintenance does an AF-S need?
Check the oil chamber yearly, replace the lower seal at 8000 running hours or when the leakage probe trips, and inspect the impeller whenever vibration rises. We supply seal kits with part numbers in the manual.
Can these run on a generator?
Yes. Submersible motors tolerate generator supply well; give us the generator kVA and we confirm the DOL or soft-start sizing for your model.
Do you supply the complete lifting system?
Yes: guide rail, auto-coupling base, discharge elbow, chains, and floor stands, dimensioned to your well drawing.
